RETURN POLICY

At IndianRoots, we believe in always trying hard to delight our customers. Our return policies are created with you in mind and ensure that you are satisfied every step of the way.

PLEASE NOTE: At this time, Indianroots.com only accepts returns from India, United States of America, United Kingdom and Canada. Customized goods cannot be returned.

PRODUCT RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION / MANUFACTURING DEFECT OR WRONG ITEM:

We advise the customer to check the quality/quantity of the product against the invoice, before accepting the package from the courier agency.

In case of any discrepancy, please leave a suitable remark at the time of receipt.

In case the product is damaged, or has a manufacturing defect, or a wrong product has been sent, please contact indianroots.com at care@indianroots.com within 24 hours of receiving the order.

Please retain all packaging materials and product/s until a set of processing instructions has been received from Indianroots.com.

In case of any other complaints regarding the delivered package, email Indianroots.com at care@indianroots.com within 24 hours of receiving the product.

Do not ship any product/s back to Indianroots.com before receiving a confirmation email from Indianroots.com confirming the return shipment. In case you wish to return a product, please write to us at care@indianroots.com within 24 hours of receiving the product. Once we verify the damage, manufacturing defect, or issue of concern, our customer care team will email you with details on how to return the product/s. In case any product is returned without such confirmation, Indianroots.com will not guarantee refund, credit or replacement of the product.

In case you email us with regards to returning a product, your email should contain comprehensive details of the defects/complaints of the order/package delivered to you. Please note that Indianroots.com shall verify the details of defects/variations of the returned products for all such defects/variations, on the basis of your emails.

All shipping costs of returning the product/s to Indianroots.com are to be borne by the customer.

All defective products are to be returned to Indianroots.com in their original condition and original packaging, with invoice included and sealed carefully. Please return your order with the return label issued to you by the customer care team at the time of return confirmation.

Safe receipt of returned product/s by Indianroots.com is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Indianroots.com shall examine the product/s returned by the customer for such defects/variations as reported by the customer, and ensure that remedial steps are taken immediately.

In case it is found on examination of product/invoice/order receipt that the error has occurred due to the customer, then Indianroots.com will offer to make any necessary modifications/alternations at the cost of the customer.

Refund:

Indianroots.com will refund the paid amount only if the order was damaged prior to delivery, faulty or if a wrong order was sent.

No refund will be given by Indianroots.com if the order was delivered in accordance with the color and size selections of the customer while placing the order.

In case the error is found to be due to Indianroots.com, the product can be replaced or the amount refunded, at the discretion of Indianroots.com.

Partial Refunds:

In the case of a multi-product order, if for any reason Indianroots.com is unable to deliver a certain product/s, the customer will be allowed to select an alternate product. However, in case the customer does not wish to select any alternate product/s, Indianroots.com shall agree to either provide store credit (to be used for future purchases on Indianroots.com), or refund the amount for that particular product/s. The decision to provide a refund lies at the discretion of Indianroots.com.

Cancellation:

The customer can cancel the order within 24 hours of placing the order. No cancellations will be accepted after 24 hours.

Credit Issues:

The credits issued against the customer's credit card account normally take up to three (3) business days to be processed. In addition, the corresponding bank may take up to two (2) business days from the date of acceptance to credit the amount in the customer's account.

The details of the products and product specifications (weight, color, handwork details, size, etc.) as mentioned on Indianroots.com are only approximate values, and can vary slightly from product to product.

Because products on Indianroots.com are designer made, hand woven and intricately crafted and sourced from various parts of India, there may be variations in color and embellishment of the actual product against what is shown on the website. This is due to the nature of fabric dyes, weather at the time of dying and differences in display outputs due to lighting, digital photography, color settings and capabilities of computer monitors.
